PUSH UPS FOR PUPS? What is that?!

Push Ups for Pups (P.U.P.) is an annual fundraiser based in Seattle, WA held each May. We choose one local animal rescue each year, and 100% of the donations go to that organization to use as they see fit for the animals. We’ve grown and adapted each year, so they’ve all been a little different, but wonderful, and we’ve been able to help support our furry friends! We have helped several animals with medical bills, travel costs, supplies for their rescue, and have even helped a few of the animals find their forever homes.

Since our usual business is health, strength, and performance coaching, we’re always looking for ways to improve upon what we’ve done in that past. We’ve looked at what worked well, and we took feedback on what could be improved. The whole point of P.U.P. is to help support more animals than we could by ourselves, and to spread awareness to more and more people each year.

This year, our layout is a little different, again, but our mission is as strong as ever. We’ll be supporting Pasado’s Safe Haven this year, and are so excited! Check out their website here: https://www.pasadosafehaven.org/

Instead of requiring push ups for donations, we’re keeping the namesake and work ethic, but are hopefully making it more accessible to all who want to participate.

We’re having a P.U.P. merch sale with shirts, hats, tote bags, and baseball caps. We’re hosting a silent auction in the gym throughout the month of May with some cool packages to bid on. We’ll also be posting about them and accepting bids on our Instagram page @own.healthandstrength. Plus, we always accept good ol’ fashioned donations via check, Venmo, or Square, with all proceeds from those going to the wonderful humans and animals at Pasado’s Safe Haven.
